From Martha Stewart Living, here’s a delicious recipe that’s the perfect way to welcome in spring. Be sure to have plenty of chilled Syfo Original Seltzer on hand.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup agave nectar
- 1/2 cup water
- 3/4 cup thinly sliced sorrel leaves
- 4 limes, quartered, plus 4 thin rounds, for garnish
- 40 ounces Syfo Original Seltzer or Lemon-Line Naturally Flavored Sparkling Water, chilled (substitute either or blend for taste preference)
Preparation:
Step 1
Combine agave nectar and water in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring. Let syrup cool completely, then transfer to a blender and puree with sorrel until smooth. Pour syrup through a fine sieve into a bowl and discard solids.
Step 2
Squeeze lime quarters into a large pitcher. Add quarters to pitcher and gently smash with the back of a wooden spoon to release the oils in the rind. Add sorrel syrup and seltzer. Serve over ice, garnished with lime rounds.
Cool off with this Naturally Flavored Sparkling Water Recipe
Although I am addicted to Syfo on its own, my everyday beverage life and entertaining consists of mixing Syfo with every juice imaginable.
In a tall or short glass, mix Syfo Lemon-Lime with All Natural Simply Lemonade or Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice. Syfo Wild Cherry is great with All Natural Simply Lemonade with Rasberry. Mix Florida’s Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice or Grape Fruit Juice with Syfo Original Seltzer, Lemon-Lime, Tangerine-Orange or Wild Cherry. The possibilities are endlessly refreshing and “good for you drinks”. Sometimes I combine all of the Syfo beverages together with all of the different juices. Serve at once over ice cubes. Garnish with a wedge of squeezed lime, orange or lemon.

Roll each bit of dough into a ball and flatten the top slightly.Place them all on a greaseproof baking tray.
