Just in time for the Derby, here’s a take on the classic mint julep. Perfect for all summer long. To reduce the sugar, you can add your favorite alternative natural sweetener to taste. Recipe courtesy of Tori Avery.
Ingredients
• 2 1/4 oz fresh mint (three large handfuls), divided
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup water
• 1 cup chilled fresh lemon juice
• 1 cup chilled bourbon
• 5 cups chilled Syfo Original Seltzer
• Crushed ice for serving
